Windgather from Taxal Edge

On January 9th 2010 the UK ground to a halt with weather and I struggled through the deep snow drifts on Taxal Edge.  Having stopped for a rest, I noticed Windgather Rocks in the distance.  Along with tree and wall, it made for a lovely shot.

I had to use heavy graduated Blue and Black filters to keep control of the exposure of the sky and sun.  I think this image works well in both Colour & Mono.

This photo was taken using a Canon EOS 500D.
