Scarborough Castle from Burniston Rocks

Scarborough Castle from Burniston Rocks – With Scarborough Castle in the far background, Burniston Rocks is apart of  Yorkshire’s Jurassic coastline, about 4 miles North of Scarborough. The area is famed for its prehistoric legacy. Dinosaurs footprints have been found on the rocks at Burniston, but for me this little known cove is fantastic for giant boulders and rock pools and if caught at the right time of day & year with the right weather conditions can make the most interesting foreground feature, as good or if not better than the Dorset coast, plus you are facing the right way to catch thoses dramatic sunrises. Here’s a link to the black & White – Burniston rocks
